The Classic Dry Gin Martini

booze_martiniFor BWG, a great cocktail that is light on feel and weight and looks as if it fits the bright colors of the spring and summer seasons is the classic, dry gin martini. Most cocktails have dozens of variations and this is one of our seasonal favorites for the style.

Classic Dry Gin Martini

Ingredients: 2 1/4 oz. Greenhook Ginsmiths American Dry Gin (we love it with Hendricks Gin as well) | 3/4 oz. Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth | 1 dash of The Bitter Truth Orange Bitters | lemon twist

Directions: Pour the gin, vermouth and bitters into a mixing glass, add ice and stir for 30 seconds. Rub lemon twist over the rim of a chilled martini glass. Strain drink into glass, add lemon twist for garnish.gin_pour
